Proceeds from the event support all of the SBCC Foundation’s work, including the SBCC Promise, student achievement programs, scholarships, book grants, emergency funds, and more.

Spring Forward! Gala 2023

The SBCC Foundation’s 4th annual Spring Forward Gala was held on Saturday, May 20, 2023
on the beautiful meadow of SBCC’s West Campus.

Spring Forward! Gala 2022

Spring Forward! Gala 2020

The SBCC Foundation’s 2020 Spring Forward! Gala was held on Thursday, October 1, and was reinvented as a virtual event. Thank you to all of our generous sponsors, donors, and everyone who joined us. Over 250 people attended and the virtual event raised more than $300,000 to support our community’s college.

Spring Forward! Gala 2019

The SBCC Foundation’s inaugural Spring Forward! Gala was held on the beautiful Santa Barbara City College campus on April 27, 2019 in the Sports Pavilion, which was transformed into an elegant venue by Merryl Brown Events. More than 300 guests attended and the event raised over $400,000 for the work of the SBCC Foundation. Surprise guest Michael McDonald joined SBCC’s New World Jazz Ensemble for an exhilarating performance.
