Thanks to generous donors, over $1 million in scholarships and book grants are awarded annually to students through the SBCC Foundation. Scholarship awards remain among the most important ways to encourage student success. They relieve financial burden while offering validation of a challenging endeavor. A scholarship can provide a significant positive outcome for a student’s educational journey, career trajectory, and life.
Though hundreds of scholarships are awarded annually, only about one-third of applicants can be accommodated. The need is great for students of all walks of life and across all disciplines.
