“I’m from a low-income household, and free college through the SBCC Promise was so helpful,” said Jenny Nnoli, who studied anthropology and graduated in spring 2020. “So much growth has happened here – I am grateful to all of my professors, counselors, and the resources at SBCC that have provided support and direction, enabling me to pursue my dreams.” Jenny transferred to UC Berkeley in fall 2020.
