Suzi Schomer is a vice president in the Wealth Management Group of Montecito Bank & Trust. She has more than 30 years of experience in financial services with expertise in estate planning, investment management, and domestic and international private banking in Santa Barbara, Portland, and Austin. Her experience also includes the successful development and implementation of wealth management and charitable giving strategies for individuals, private foundations, and nonprofit organizations.

Suzi has been an active volunteer in Santa Barbara for more than two decades. She is currently the president of the Wildling Museum; secretary for both the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation and the Channel City Club; and treasurer of the Santa Barbara Cemetery Association. In addition, Suzi is a board member for the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, on the Research Committee for the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara, and serves on the planned giving committees of United Way of Santa Barbara County, the Music Academy of the West, the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara. She served as foreman of the 2012-13 Santa Barbara County Grand Jury.

Suzi received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Southern California.
She is married with four adult sons, and lives in Santa Barbara.
