Jennifer LeMay serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications, developing strategies to increase support for the Foundation and its mission of fueling the excellence at SBCC by enriching college programs, removing barriers, and empowering students to succeed. She provides direction, design, and content development for publications, advertisements, websites, social media, and all print and digital communications.

Having worked in marketing and visual communications for two decades, Jennifer’s experience includes managing and serving as creative director for J. LeMay Studios, providing communication strategy and design services. She has worked with many businesses, nonprofits, and agencies that contribute to a better world through environmental and social work, education, and the arts. Previously, she served as marketing and communications manager at Yardi Systems, a software company based in Santa Barbara.

Jennifer also served for many years as a faculty member at Santa Barbara City College, in the Graphic Design and Multimedia Arts and Technologies departments. Teaching at SBCC deepened her passion for visual communication while reinforcing her belief that the college is a vital resource in our community.

Jennifer is also a contributing writer for Edible Santa Barbara magazine, a beautifully designed publication that explores and celebrates the abundance of local food and wine throughout Santa Barbara County. The magazine shines a spotlight on the region’s exemplary farmers, chefs, and food and gardening programs that promote sustainability and community resilience.

Jennifer holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
